Antique 10′ Brunswick-Balke-Collender Medalist

Description

This 1920s era 10’ Brunswick-Balke-Collender pool table is the definition of ‘sturdy’. The heavy duty 6-legged masterpiece, otherwise known as the Brunswick Medalist, has somewhat of a Medieval appearance to it, and is bound to make a statement in your game room. Aside from it’s solid structure, the Brunswick-Balke-Collender Medalist features gorgeous details, like the highly figured swirly Butt Walnut, which is rubbed to a dull finish and accented with fancy birdseye Maple and Ebony inlays.

As expected, this Brunswick pool table boasts 3 piece 1” regulation size top quality slate, for maximum accuracy and stability during gameplay. The cushion rails are made up of a 3-ply body, the center of which is hard maple, which is where the cushion bolts are placed for a firm and secure hold. The alternating wood grain protects the rails against any type of climatic change. The rails feature the famous Monarch ‘perfect angle’ cushion rubber, and are topped with a rail cap of compound construction faced with solid Rosewood. The Medalist also features six open basket pockets and No. 6 style pocket irons, which are countersunk into the cushion rails with brass sockets for a seamless and ‘traditional’ billiard table look.
